Our immigrant forefathers brought their love of song on the long voyage from Norway to the shores of America.

Their spirit is still with us today.

A mainstay in Norway's cultural life for many years, the male chorus very early gained respect and status throughout Norway.  It is not surprising that the men's chorus also became a significant cultural institution in many Norwegian communities in America.

Through songs such as Hil dig Norge, Naar fjordene blaaner and Astri mi Astri, we celebrate our Norwegian heritage.  We also enjoy songs in English such as My Heart's in the Highlands and Battle Hymn of the Republic.

Every year, choruses from the length of the West Coast join together for a Sangerfest.

Whether you are an enthusiastic singer or an appreciative listener, we invite you to join us!  You don't have to be Norwegian, just enjoy Norwegian music.
